Budget and Annual Report
South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) is a special district with roots dating back to 1953. The primary revenue source for the District is property taxes collected by Arapahoe, Douglas, and Jefferson Counties. SMFR has a mill levy of 9.25 on the assessed value of property within the District boundaries. The District has the following funds: General Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Enterprise fund, Special Revenue Fund, Internal Services Fund, and a Fiduciary Fund.
